Legal Officer (Family & Criminal Law) Part-time
We are looking for a qualified woman* solicitor or barrister with experience of family and criminal law to deliver our vital legal services for women.
The main focus of this role will be to deliver legal advice to women who have experienced or are at risk of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
You will also be responsible for delivery of Rights of Women’s core services including providing legal advice on our telephone advice lines, delivering training and writing publications. You will also contribute to our policy work.
Salary: Pro-rata of £33,573.93 Gross Pay per annum plus 3% pension contribution [FTE 35 hrs pw rate]
Conditions: 21 hours per week (3 days)
Holiday entitlement: Pro-rata of 25 days annual leave per annum plus public holidays [FTE]
Duration: Fixed term until 18 December 2020
Location: Rights of Women, 52-54 Featherstone Street, London EC1Y 8RT
