We are currently recruiting for the following:

Legal Officer (Family and Criminal Law)

We are looking for a qualified woman* solicitor or barrister with experience of family and criminal law to deliver our vital legal services for women.

The main focus of this role will be to deliver legal advice to women who have experienced or are at risk of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

You will also be responsible for delivery of Rights of Women’s core services including providing legal advice on our telephone advice lines, delivering training and writing publications. You will also contribute to our policy work.

Salary: £33,573.93 Gross Pay per annum plus 3% pension contribution

Conditions: 35 hours per week (5 days)

Holiday entitlement: 25 days annual leave per annum plus public holidays

Duration: One-year fixed term 1 January 2020 until 31 December 2020; extension possible, subject to funding.
