London Marathon 2018!

On April 22nd, one of our amazing family law advice line volunteers, Lorna Cservenka, ran the London Marathon to raise funds for us.

“Without doubt that was the hardest thing I have ever done. But I kissed that medal when it was placed round my neck.”

After months of hard work and training (even in the snow!), Lorna did an absolutely fantastic job battling through the heat to the finish line and we are immensely proud of her and so grateful for the money she has raised – a massive £5,030.95 – thank you so much to everyone for donating!

In September 2018, one of our fantastic supporters, Ematice Mokhtari climbed Kilimanjaro to raise funds for us. Ematice not only reached the summit, but also raised over £5oo!

“Climbing Kilimanjaro was an incredible challenge – bigger than I had anticipated, and I couldn’t have done it without everyone’s support. I’m so glad that I have been able to use this amazing experience to raise money for such a good cause and I hope that it really does make a difference in some way!”

A huge thank you to Ematice for taking on such a massive challenge and raising funds so that we can continue our work to support women through the law and ensure they gain access to justice.
