Legal Officer (Employment Law)
We are looking for a qualified woman* solicitor or barrister with experience of employment law to deliver our vital legal services for women as part of our employment law team.
The Legal Officer (Employment law) is responsible for delivery of Rights of Women’s core services including providing legal advice on our telephone advice lines, delivering training and writing publications. She also contributes to Rights of Women’s policy work. Specifically, she is responsible for the assistance of the implementation and delivery of a project funded by the Rosa Justice and Equality Fund for women who have been sexually harassed in the workplace.
Salary: Pro-rata of full-time equivalent (35 hours) rate per annum £34,581 Gross Pay plus 3% pension contribution
Conditions: 21 hours per week (3 days)
Holiday entitlement: Pro-rata of 25 days annual leave plus public holidays per annum [FTE rate]
Location: Home-based. Possibility of occasional travel requirement in the future across England and Wales, after lockdown restrictions are eased, for meetings or delivery of training.
Line Manager: Senior Legal Officer (Employment law)
Duration: Fixed term until 31 March 2021. Possibility of extension, subject to funding.
